GENERAL INFORMATION All-Weather Window, Doors and Siding (AWWD) was founded in 1986.   All-Weather Window & Doors has served the KC metro area for over 20 years with a customer base of over 34,000 customers.  Our growth and success is built on supplying, installing and after-sale commitment to service of the products we sell.  Those products include:  entry/patio doors, wood/vinyl replacement windows, vinyl/steel lap and batten board siding, and storm windows/doors.  In addition we haven’t forgotten our roots---we have a full service in-shop repair department that can make or repair almost any glass or screen.  We also have a “Repair & Handyman Service” division that is capable of in-field work such as fogged or broken glass, wood rot repairs & emergency door break-in secure service.

       
COMPANY HISTORY
In 1996, Kim & Oanh Blake purchased AWWD; they are the driving force behind the company today.   Even though the company has grown and expanded product lines, the Blakes’ continue to foster that neighborly, can-do attitude when servicing the communities surrounding the Kansas City area. 
When the City of Mission purchased our property at 5601 Johnson Drive for the Rock Creek Floodplain improvements, Kim moved the offices and showroom to its present location at 5410 Johnson Drive.  Today, the showroom and offices are easy to find in downtown Mission by its signature, bright yellow awning! 
Not only has All-Weather Window & Door maintained local ownership within the Mission area, but also, the ownership aggressively participates in the many civic activities the City of Mission sponsors.  AWWD annually contributes thousands of dollars in material and labor to help others.  Over the years, The Keys Home for Boys in Mission, The Bridge Home for Boys and the Bridge Home for Girls have all been recipients of Kim Blake’s civic-minded generosity.

COMPANY PROFILE
AWDD is currently run as an employee/owner management team, at the direction of Kim Blake.  From a modest start with 2 employees, A-W-W-D has grown and to over 20 employees, installers, and subcontractor teams. 

CERTIFICATIONS
AWWD is proud to staff CLCs/Certified Lead Carpenters as certified by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), as well as AAMA Installation Master certifications. 
We’ve also earned the honor of being awarded a Circle of Excellence Dealer designation for Andersen Windows & Doors, with a showroom and three Andersen Specialists on staff.
